Pubish App to Play Store


The following steps will take you step-by-step through the process of deploying your Android App Bundle to the Google Play Store:

Prerequisites

Step 1:

  • Google Play Developer account: If you don't already have one, create one.
  • Ready AAB file: You can generate it with your development tools. (e.g., Android Studio).
  • App screenshots and other assets: Prepare the visuals and information you need for your store listing.
  • Step 2: Set up your app in the Play Console

  • Open the Play Console (https://play.google.com/console) and create an app.
  • Include details about the app, such as its title, description, and category.
  • Specify the target audience and the content rating.
  • Include your app icons and other listing assets in your store listing.
  • Step 3: Create a new release

  • Go to your app's Release section in the Play Console.
  • Then click the Create new release button.
  • You can let Google manage your app signing key if you choose the Manage app signing key option.
  • Step 4: Upload your AAB file

  • You can upload your AAB file or drag and drop it under App bundles.
  • Please enter a name for the release (internal use only).
  • Create detailed release notes for users.
  • Step 5: Configure app availability

  • You can select the countries or regions in which your app should be available.
  • Choose the target language.
  • Select which testing tracks to release to (optional).
  • Step 6: Submit your app for review

  • Ensure that all information and settings are reviewed carefully before proceeding.
  • Please confirm your agreement with the Play Developer Program terms and conditions.
  • To submit for review, click Submit.
  • Step 6: Review and address feedback (if necessary)

  • You can expect a review from Google Play within a few days.
  • In the event that issues are found, you'll receive feedback and suggestions to make improvements.
  • Resubmit your app after making any necessary changes.
  • Step 7: Publish your app (after successful review)

  • When your approval is received, you can choose to publish immediately or schedule it for a later date.
  • Now your app will be available in the selected countries and regions to download.
